Refund & Returns Policy

At Lumé, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, because our products are personal care items, we must adhere to strict health and hygiene standards. Please read our policy below regarding returns and refunds.

1. Return Window

We accept return requests for unopened and unused products within 14 days of the delivery date. If 14 days have gone by since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • The original safety seal or shrink-wrap must be intact.

  • The item must be in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-returnable items:

  • Items with broken hygiene seals.

  • Used or “swatched” cosmetics/skincare.

  • Gift cards.

  • Sale or clearance items (Final Sale).

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit or has a manufacturing defect, we will replace it or issue a full refund immediately.

  • Please email support@lume.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Include your order number and a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging.

4. Refund Process

  1. Initiation: Contact our team at returns@lume.com to receive a Return Authorization.

  2. Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  3. Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund is approved.

  4. Credit: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

5. Pre-orders & Cancellations

  • Cancellations: You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before the order has been processed for shipping.

  • Pre-orders: Pre-ordered items follow the same 14-day return policy once they are delivered to you.
